Executive Committee

The Executive Committee (EC) is provided with the power and authority of the full board to act and make decisions on behalf of the full board. Its charge is to work closely with the Executive Director to provide strong executive leadership, provide oversight and advice on important matters, and to ensure adherence to the highest ethical standards and best practices for non-profit governance and the use of public funds.  The Committee also acts as a steering committee for the Board of Directors, conducting research as necessary on various issues in order to help evaluate the Council’s progress towards strategic goals and initiatives.

The Executive Committee consists of the Council’s President, Vice President, Secretary (Non-voting), Treasurer, Regional Medical Director and two Directors elected At-Large by the Board.
